For the Community – By the CommunityÂ
Built from the ground up by artists, musicians, and local collaborators, Hydrophonic is a community-driven creative space designed to celebrate music, self-expression, education, and connection.
Â
Hydrophonic was founded on a simple principle: a festival for the community, by the community. Every aspect of the event has been shaped by the people involved, from the artists and volunteers to the small businesses and nonprofit partners that support it. This is a grassroots collaboration rooted in the Four Corners region and guided by a belief that meaningful events are built collectively.
Â
At its core, Hydrophonic is about creative freedom and authentic self-expression. The festival exists to create a space where people can be themselves, explore new ideas, and share their art openly. We encourage participants to bring their full selves into the experience.
Â
We believe creativity thrives when people feel safe to be vulnerable. Hydrophonic is designed to be a space where artists and attendees alike can experiment, grow, and express themselves without judgment.
Â
Education & Creative Growth
Education plays a central role in the festival experience. Hydrophonic aims to empower artists and aspiring creators by offering opportunities to develop skills and deepen their understanding of music and creative practice.
This year we are honored to be partnering this year with the Incubator collective This year’s programming includes hands-on workshops and educational sessions led by respected artists including:
and more who will be teaching DJ and music production courses during the festival.
Learning opportunities like these reinforce one of Hydrophonic’s central values: everyone has something worth expressing, and creativity is a skill that can be nurtured and shared.
Â
By creating space for education alongside performance, Hydrophonic supports long-term artistic growth within the community rather than focusing only on entertainment.

Powered by Unify Mountain Soundz
Unify Mountain Soundz was born from years of renegade mountain shows across Southwest Colorado, built on passion, friendship, and love for music. What began as a group of friends organizing grassroots gatherings evolved into a full production movement grounded in the belief that sound matters, details matter, and community matters.Â
They’ve always believed in the 1%. Because while 99% of people love to party, only 1% is dedicated to creating the kind of experience that makes those moments unforgettable. Whether producing an intimate gathering or a full-scale festival, their mission remains the same: to unify people through high-fidelity sound and genuine connection.
Curated Stages & Immersive Art
Hydrophonic features four carefully curated stages, each offering a distinct sonic and visual identity while contributing to the overall experience.
Â
Stage curation is led by:
These collaborators bring together diverse styles of music and help showcase both regional and touring artists while supporting emerging talent and creative experimentation.
Each stage is designed not only as a performance space, but as a creative environment where sound, art, and community intersect. A major part of this experience is our commitment to high-quality sound systems that allow artists to be heard the way their music was meant to be experienced.
Hydrophonic will feature professional audio systems from some of the most respected manufacturers in the world, including:
• KV2 Audio
• Funktion-One
• HSD Sound Systems
• HOQS
Beyond the stages, Hydrophonic includes large-scale art installations, live painting, and interactive environments created by local and regional artists. These installations transform Tico Time into a living creative space where attendees become active participants in the artistic experience.
